š 1. Get Your Named Examples Locked In
AQA requires you to include named sociologists or theories in many of the longer-mark questions. If you donāt name at least one? You could cap your marks even if everything else is perfect.
Here are some go-to examples to keep in your short-term memory:
Durkheim ā education and social solidarity
Parsons ā functionalist view of the family
Becker ā labelling theory in education
Oakley ā gender socialisation in the family

šÆ Hack: Make a ānamed example sheetā with just 1ā2 key points per study, and quiz yourself before bed.
š 2. Master Methodology
Research methods comes up. You need to know the advantages and disadvantages of each type.
Tonight, review how to tackle questions like:
āGive one strength of using unstructured interviews.ā
āExplain one disadvantage of participant observation.ā
Make sure you know these methods well:
āļø Questionnaires
āļø Interviews (structured/unstructured)
āļø Observations (participant/non-participant)
āļø Official statistics
